In addition, the corrosion resistance of low-alloy high-strength structural steel is better than that of Q235, which can be used for open-air structure to extend the service life of structure and reduce maintenance costs.
2. Selection of tower structure form. The steel tower can be designed into triangles, quadrilateral, hexagonal, octagon, etc., according to the number of exhaust pipe. From the elevation form, there are equal slope conical tower, variable slope parabola or folding tower

(1) The flat section form of the tower. The flat section form of the tower is related to the economic effect and the aesthetic appearance. The more sides of the tower, the more steel it consumes, and the least amount of steel consumption is triangle tower.
The main reasons are as follows:
1) The load on the tower is mainly wind load. Under wind load, the force of the tower is similar to that of the cantilever beam. Therefore, in a polygonal tower, the closer the column is to the center of the horizontal section of the tower body, the less the function of the material can be played.
2) Although the increase of the number of rods can reduce the section size of rods, the increase of the number of rods requires the increase of some connecting materials and windscreen area. So the more the number of sides of the tower, the greater the load.
3) The more sides of the tower, the more diaphragm material is used to maintain the geometric stability of the plane, and the triangular tower does not need diaphragm material.
4) The more sides of the tower, the more nodes are connected, and the more materials are used for node plates.
From the perspective of structural safety, the tower with more side number has greater safety than the tower with fewer side number.

2. The heat insulation layer should be firmly connected with the chimney wall, for the chimney without heat insulation layer, at the bottom of the 2m height range, when the block material or do not shape the site pouring material, can be used to anchor nails or metal mesh fixed.
3. The top of the chimney can be set up with steel plate ring to protect the edge of heat insulation layer. When the flue gas temperature is lower than 560℃, it can be made of general carbon steel, and the thickness of steel plate ring is not less than 6mm.
