The existing telescope-type chimney mainly includes an outer cylinder, which is arranged on the basis of the inside of the dry outer cylinder, and at least one inner cylinder arranged on the basis, and the lower end face of the inner cylinder is fixed with the foundation. Since the height of the telescope-type chimney in a thermal power plant can reach 200m, the connection between the inner cylinder and the foundation must bear not only the axial force generated by vertical load, but also the bending moment caused by the deformation coordination between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. The force is large, and the foundation is fixed by the lower end face of the inner cylinder. The foundation needs to be built very large, and more anchors are needed to fix the lower end face of the inner cylinder to the foundation. In this way, the inner cylinder can be firmly fixed on the foundation.
Telescopic and multi-tube steel chimneys feature:

Because the flue gas is only in contact with the inner cylinder, the outer cylinder wall is not corroded by the flue gas, avoiding the safety hazard caused by the flue gas corrosion of the outer cylinder, and the overall structure safety of the chimney is guaranteed.

The insulation layer of traditional chimneys is not integral, but is spliced by multiple plates, and the insulation effect is poor. The telescope-type steel chimney has a thermal insulation layer on the outer wall of the inner cylinder, and there is an air layer between the outer wall and the outer cylinder wall. After thermal insulation material is used, the heat insulation and insulation through the air layer are very effective. Due to the protection of the outer cylinder, the insulation layer is not eroded by the outside atmosphere and rain, so the durability is good.
(3) Effectively exert the advantages of various materials. The inner cylinder is mainly smoke exhaust function, the influence of wind load and earthquake load is very small, so the inner cylinder can be considered from the material corrosion resistance alone, the wall thickness can be designed relatively thin, the inner cylinder can be made of carbon steel, weathering steel or acid-resistant steel and other steel materials, and the corrosion protection through reliable coating; Stainless steel inner cylinder can be used when the temperature is high; When the temperature is low and the humidity is high, the FRP inner tube can be used. The outer cylinder is not in contact with smoke. It mainly resists the influence of external loads such as wind. Therefore, it can be made of ordinary carbon structural steel or weathering steel.
